I've written about effectuation as a viable alternative to business planning for start-ups. Now the Wall Street Journal says much the same thing. Thanks to the TP! Wire Service for the lead.

To be transparent and consistent with what I said I'd do, I changed the date on this posting from January 12 to January 11 when I noticed I had put the wrong date on it.
